Paris Packers fans endured another dismal performance last night against the Washington Commanders. The Packers have now dropped a disappointing three in a row against the normally-pathetic trio of the Giants & Jets (which play in the same stadium located in a swamp in New Jersey, despite claiming to be from New York) and now the Commanders.
The big question of the Packers Hangover morning: Is the season already over? The Vikings game was awful, but we were encouraged by recalling how bad the 2021 season had started vs. where it wound up. Then we sent Tom Brady pouting off the field. Next, the Pack handed Belichick a new pair of shears so he could cut up some more sweatshirts. So, we were feeling better, but not yet good.
But now this? The Giants game in London followed by Jets Lambeau-leaping and celebrating wearing Cheeseheads? We canβt beat a 2-4 team with an identity crisis?
Rodgers is apparently saying all is still well. He claims the season can be salvaged.
Packers fans in Paris are well aware that the 1:20 AM kickoff next Sunday means healthy bar food can be expected to cap another weekend. But do we have a chance against the Bills? Perhaps low expectations will save the day. And maybe can we please trade for some wide receivers?
Hoping to avoid the four-week Packers Hangover next Monday.
