There are Sundays.
And then there are Packers Sundays.
Today is the second kind.
The Green Bay Packers are back. The season is back. And 4,000 miles from Wisconsin, a group of people in Paris are preparing to do the completely reasonable thing of putting on green and gold, walking into a French brasserie and behaving like Lambeau Field has somehow relocated to the 6th arrondissement.
Winning? Obviously.
Tonight, Titletown Europe begins another season at O’Neil Brasserie in Paris.
GAME 1. PACKERS. VIKINGS. PARIS.
Week 1 doesn’t exactly ease us into things.
Green Bay opens the 2026 season on the road against Minnesota at U.S. Bank Stadium. Kickoff is 3:25 PM in Wisconsin — 21:25 here in Paris.
Division rival.
Sunday night in Paris.
Cold beer.
Green & Gold.
This is precisely why Titletown Europe exists.
FROM WOS TO O’NEIL
For people who have been around Titletown Europe for a while, this isn’t really a new tradition.
It’s the next chapter of an old one.
Packers Sundays in Paris started years ago at WOS Bar, where Wisconsin flags, Packers jerseys and people yelling at televisions somehow became perfectly normal in the middle of Paris.
Aaron Rodgers even made it there.
Yes. That Aaron Rodgers.
And now the ritual continues at O’Neil.
Different room. Same owner. Same city. Same ridiculous devotion to a football team from a town of roughly 100,000 people in northeastern Wisconsin.
That’s kind of the whole point.
SUNDAY SERVICE IS BACK
Tonight isn’t supposed to be complicated.
Come to O’Neil.
Wear Green & Gold.
Grab a beer.
Meet somebody from Wisconsin. Meet somebody from France who somehow knows more about the Packers than you do. Explain cheese curds to someone who has never had one. Throw a few passes outside if circumstances permit.
Then get inside.
Because at 21:25 Paris time, it’s Packers football.
And once that ball is kicked off, Paris becomes Green Bay for the next three hours.
THERE’S A PACKERS BAR IN PARIS.
Years ago, Aaron Rodgers was talking about Packers fans around the world when he said:
“We travel so well. We got an incredible fan base that’s all over the world…There’s even a Packers bar in Paris that I’ve been to!”
We still love that line.
Because there is something wonderfully absurd about all of this.
Green Bay → Paris.
Lambeau → O’Neil.
Cheeseheads → fromage.
And somehow it works.
GAME 1.
So tonight isn’t just another watch party.
It’s another season of something that was never really supposed to become a tradition — but did.
New faces will walk through the door tonight. Old ones will come back. Somebody will probably arrive wearing the wrong shade of green. Someone will inevitably ask about cheese curds.
And hopefully, sometime around midnight in Paris, we’ll all be celebrating 1–0.
Packers football is back.
Paris is ready.
O’Neil is ready.
The football is inflated.
The beer is cold.
Sunday Service begins now.
GO PACK GO. 🧀🇫🇷
